Tonight, Gala co-chairs Maria Coakley David and Jim David, put together a great night of introduction to the Stars at the Mosaic Ballroom in Fairfax. Dance Enthusiasts, Community leaders and Local Celebrities attended this years DC's Dancing Stars Launch Party. An event in preparation for the 5th Annual DC's Dancing Stars Fundraising Gala in which Contestants will compete for the coveted 2018 Mirror Ball Trophy and 10,000 for the Charity of their choice! Guests enjoyed delicious appetizers and an Open Bar of Beer, Wine , Socializing and a DJ for plenty of dancing! This event was not only a great time, but a great time with only one thing in mind...Helping someone else. So Incase you missed it, here are highlights of The DC's Dancing Stars Launch Party.
Walk into the entrance of the Mosaic Ballroom where giant posters of DC's chosen celebrities greet you and take a glamorous photo in front of your favorite one. Then head over to one of 3 tables where self serve Hors D' Oeuvres, wine and beer awaits you.
Attendees get the opportunity to mingle and take photos with their favorite Corporate and Celebrity Challengers including the President of Marymount University Dr. Irma Becerra, WUSA9 Sportscaster Darren Haynes, Dr. Alex Naini of Aesthetic Dental Spa, George Nash of Associated Builders and Contractors, Mordecai Scott of Savills Studley, Erika Glon of CACI, Erin Como of Fox 5 DC and Elizabethany from Hot 99.5! Everyone looked great From Fashion Forward Jeans to Darling Designer Dresses. I believe our Celebrity Judge Monte Durham from "Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta" would agree!
