Rain or shine the Smithsonian Garden of Colors was still shining bright! Held Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at The Smithsonian Castle, this event sold out well before its date. In the previous years both inside and outside the Castle were used but the weather had another idea. Though the rain was a force to be reckoned with, we just took the entire party inside the Castle...and the Smithsonian Garden of Colors was still shining bright!
Brush the water off your shoulders and Make your Grand Entrance into the Castle, grab a drink, and explore where Great people, Great vibes and Great Music await you...at the Smithsonian #GardenOfColors!
A pumpkin carver sets the bar high with her giant pre Halloween pumpkin carvings and Mini pumpkins were given to patrons free of charge to carve and paint showing your own creative abilities which flooded one of the Smithsonians Art rooms...Bar included. Who doesn't love a good art project! #WeLoveArtsAndCrafts
In another room Play "Find the Location" at the coolest interactive map that lets you enter a location and watch as a virtual vehicle takes you there...a cool sight to see! #DCInnovation
DJ Jerome Baker III and DJ Alkimist turned the party spinning everything from Top 40, to Hip Hop, to Reggae! EVERYONE danced the night away with friends old and new. And we all know good music makes the world go round! #PartyWithAPurpose
